Beijing Tour - Olympic Park

The location of most of the main events of the great success of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, Beijing Olympic Park is a reminder of the fantastic achievements of the athletes during the Olympic Games and an even more vibrant and integral part of the historic city of Beijing.

The Olympic Park (also known as the Olympic Green) is on the same north-south axis as the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City, there on purpose as part of continuing the centuriesHistory of Beijing. The park is still much as it was during the 2008 Olympics, at least for outside locations. The Bird's Nest (National Stadium) is still quite a show to watch for its unique architectural style and enormous size, and can still be the Olympic torch on the south side of the stadium, even if you have to do is watch as it was until to the site for a period of strong winds in 2009 September For 50 RMB (about U.S. $ 9) canmake sure you go inside and walk inside the giant stadium, but there are quite early because it closes to new entrants at 15.30 clock around the inside of the Bird's Nest is about the same as it was during the Olympics, but some 11 000 posts down after the games were better for viewers to host other events which were alleged to be held there to remove. As I write (October 2010) there were only a handful of events since the closure took placeCeremonies of the Olympic Games in August 2008.

The other main attraction of the park, the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center), it seems the same from the outside, as it did during the Olympic Games and is still absolutely beautiful when illuminated at night for the day less. But inside there is a major transformation with the opening of the Watercube Happy Magic Park, water park, which is about as bizarre as his name occurred. It takes half of the 12,000 square feetWater Cube area. It 'probably the largest water park in Asia with all the same rides and attractions, one would expect, and some strange things (such as within a stadium apparently sometimes set offers style showgirls in Las Vegas and -bands of questionable talent). The tickets, at least for the summer and autumn of 2010, a steep 200 RMB (about U.S. $ 30).

In addition to these two sites, however, are the rest of the Olympic Park site for a stroll and enjoy theWhen weather is nice. There are numerous sculptures scattered throughout the park, and it is possible from the nest and Area Water Cut off the north edge of the Beijing Olympics Forest Park (a park in the north separate the Olympic Park) to go and then the subway to 8 to reach the ever-growing line of Beijing metro to another destination in the city. Plenty of food is to sell drinks and snacks, so it will be a visit to Olympic Park is a very nice change for afew hours, especially when the weather is good. It's worth a visit to Olympic Park in Beijing, where the story so much has been done in the summer of 2008.
